The principle of IFB is to add volume to the face which it has lost over the course of time. The fatty tissue running through the subcutaneous tissue in two layers is mainly responsible for volume. It supports the skin and gives the face its youthful volume. The aging process causes the tissue to disintegrate and shift, which results in certain areas of the face such as the lower lid region and the cheeks sinking. This leads to lines and shadows which give the typical impression of a tired, aging face. This lost volume can be restored by an injection of nature-identical hyaluronic acid preparations such as Restylane.
Hyaluronic acid gel is injected into large areas in the different facial regions. The tissue under the wrinkles expands and disturbing shadows are softened. The skin looks smooth and naturally young again. I use a special needle with a rounded tip for this treatment. This special design helps what’s known as the pix’L needle to glide so gently through the tissue that treatment is practically pain-free.
