Katrin Dreissigacker is a plastic and cosmetic surgeon. She studied medicine at the Humboldt University Berlin and the Free University of Berlin from 1990 to 1997 and graduated with distinction. A practical year followed at the Rudolf Virchow University Hospital in Berlin, the Groote Schuur Hospital of the University of Cape Town in South Africa and the Interlaken Regional Hospital in Switzerland.

Between 1997 and 2005, she did her specialist training to become a plastic and cosmetic surgeon in various well-known hospitals such as the Centre for Burn Injuries at the Urban Hospital Berlin under Dr. Dr. med. J. C. Bruck, the Department of Plastic Surgery of the Asklepios Clinic in Birkenwerder, Dr. med. K. Ueberreiter, Tagesklinik for Plastic Surgery in Santos, Brazil, the Department of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery at the Meoclinic Berlin, Dr. med. D. Witzel, and at the Centre of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the MediaPark Clinc in Cologne, Dr. (TR) Eren. In December 2005, Katrin Dreissigacker became a self-employed plastic and cosmetic surgeon with the focus on non-operative interventions.

Katrin Dreissigacker developed the Individual Face Balance with the pix`L needle. She is an international trainer for volume replenishment with hyaluronic acid (Restylane), particularly in combination with the use of the blunt pix’L needle. She gives hands-on courses, publishes and presents papers at international anti-aging congresses.
