Botox
Botox is currently the agent of choice for “learnt“ wrinkles. Typical examples of these are the furrows on the forehead or the frown lines between the eyebrows. Over the course of time, they dig deep into the skin due to the constant series of facial expressions. Botox reduces muscular activity for a few months and the skin relaxes. Even deep wrinkles are smoothened. Targeted injections in the appropriate muscles can alleviate crow’s feet and relift the eyebrows. The eye region looks open and radiant again.
Botox can be used to target specific “problem zones“, but also as a supplement to restore the lost facial volume with hyaluronic acid. The effect lasts approximately 4 to 6 months. It can be effortlessly refreshed after that.
