Conventional needles used for filling are similar to needles known for medicines. They are pointed, sharp and penetrate the tissue. This can lead to considerable bruising and swelling. In contrast, the new Pix’L needle has a rounded blunt tip. When penetrating the tissue, it separates the natural fibre connections and thus allows virtually pain-free injection of hyaluronic acid without unpleasant accompanying effects such as severe bruising and swelling.

The opening is a particular feature. Unlike normal needles, it is situated on the side. This guarantees uniform flow of hyaluronic acid. In addition, needle flexibility allows very precise guidance which enables optimum treatment results.
